Koh Chang is one of the biggest island in Thailand. The name of the island litterally means “an elephant”. Located in the Siam Gulf, in the waters of the Pacific Ocean. The highest point of the island – Mount Salakphet (743 meters above sea level). The island has plenty of trees, developed infrastructure and tourism.
Over the years, this place was away from the tourist activities so the island’s nature is preserved in its original beauty. Over the last 5-6 years people built large hotel complexes, hospitals, banks for a comfortable stay of tourists from around the world.
